Reef Analysis is a trading name of Ark Technology Ltd, registered in England & Wales (No. 11538549). References to "we", "us" or "our" mean Ark Technology Ltd. References to "you" or "your" mean the person or entity accessing or using the service.
Reef Analysis provides tools for saltwater reef aquarium hobbyists to upload and analyse ICP water chemistry test results, log home test kit readings, and monitor live sensor data from connected devices (Apex Fusion, Alkatronic, Mastertronic). The service is provided for informational and organisational purposes only.
Important: Reef Analysis is not a substitute for professional aquatic or veterinary advice. Reference ranges displayed within the application are indicative only. You remain solely responsible for all decisions relating to your aquarium, livestock, and dosing. We accept no liability for harm to livestock, coral, or equipment arising from reliance on data displayed in the application.

The service integrates with third-party platforms including ReefZlements, ATI, Triton, Fauna Marin, Oceamo, Tropic Marin, Modern Reef, Aquaforest, Apex Fusion, Alkatronic, and Mastertronic. By connecting these services you confirm you have the right to do so under their respective terms of service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for the accuracy of data provided by these platforms.
When you provide credentials for third-party devices (e.g. Apex Fusion, Alkatronic, Mastertronic), you authorise us to access those platforms on your behalf solely to fetch and store your data within Reef Analysis. Credentials are stored encrypted and are never shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate this feature.
All intellectual property rights in the Reef Analysis application, including its design, code, and content, are owned by or licensed to Ark Technology Ltd. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights in that intellectual property other than the limited right to use the service as described here.
You retain ownership of all data you upload or enter into the service. By uploading data you grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or changes at any time without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the service at our discretion.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that data will be accurate or complete, or that defects will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ark Technology Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of livestock, or loss of profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@reefanalysis.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent adequacy mechanisms.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual tanks (which cascades to all associated test and sensor data) at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at hello@reefanalysis.com. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

We do not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage to persist your in-app preferences (selected tank, dashboard tile layout, time range selections). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers except where explicitly synced to your account (e.g. dashboard tile configuration).
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords and device credentials are never stored in plaintext — credentials are encrypted at rest using Supabase Vault. We apply row-level security so your data is only accessible to your own account.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
